Leadership Team
Founder
Jordi Villanueva
Jordi Villanueva is the founder of WATT WORKS CONSULTING and a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience driving commercial growth across the solar industry. He has worked successfully with organizations ranging from mid-sized private companies to multibillion-dollar enterprises, consistently delivering results through strategic insight and strong client relationships.
Recognized for his integrity, transparency, and collaborative leadership style, Jordi has built and led high-performing solar sales teams while expanding client portfolios and long-term partnerships. Over the course of his career, he has sold more than 10,000 MW of solar components to EPCs, developers, and tracker manufacturers across the United States.
Outside of work, Jordi enjoys spending time with his son Matteo, traveling, and staying active through tennis and golf. Occasionally, he can be seen playing pickleball, which he will never openly admit to his tennis friends.
Partner
Peter Franzen
Peter is an experienced software engineer, IT systems administrator, and data analyst with more than 2 decades of experience in a variety of industries. He holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies as well as a MS in IT Systems Management, and has spent much of his career managing and operating IT and engineering teams. He has experience in the highly regulated finance industry as well as advertising, media, and non-profits.
Throughout his career he has focused on complex transitional projects aimed at modernizing, streamlining, and optimizing legacy systems and workflows. With the advent of AI-assisted tools he has been able to accelerate this work dramatically which has provided significant operational cost savings.
The drive to solve complex problems with innovative technological solutions provides a constant motivation, and using the latest AI-enhanced workflows makes this work more enjoyable and effective than ever.
Outside of work Peter is an avid photographer, traveler, and adventure sport enthusiast.
